Hi everyone! I’m Yasu from Japan. I live in Tokyo. I’m working as a digital marketing consultant and YouTuber. Today I’m gonna talk about the reasons why you should come to Japan. Now, it is difficult to visit other countries because of the COVID-19 pandemic. But after the situation improves, I recommend you to come here. I’d like to let you know five reasons why I think it’s worth it to visit Japan.
First of all, the Food. The balance between cost and quality is the best in the world, I think. I’ve been to over 20 countries so far. But I’ve never found a better country than Japan in terms of that. Most foreigners who come to Japan say Japanese food is awesome. Sushi, Ramen, Sashimi, Hotpot, Japanese BBQ, Tempura, Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, Unagi or eel, Gyoza or Japanese Dumpling, Yakitori, Tonkatsu, I love these foods. Japan has a variety of foods. So you never get bored of eating food.
Second, safety. Japan is one of the safest countries in the world. The criminal rate is very low. You can walk around the city alone even at midnight. The police hardly turn to any corruption. So, they are very reliable. Even if you lost a wallet in the city, you could find it at the police station. A foreign friend of mine told me the experience today, by the way.
Third, public transportation. Japanese public transportation is highly developed. There are a lot of lines of trains, subways, buses, and Airways in Japan. They are relatively cheap and clean. And, the most remarkable thing is they are always on time. The trains are rarely delayed or canceled. It demonstrates the feature of Japanese punctuality. So, you can easily plan your schedule smoothly. It is very convenient.
Fourth, there are many places to visit. Japan has many big cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Sapporo. Each city has different attractions. And, there are many historical architectures such as temples and shrines in the cities. Japan also has diverse natural landscapes like beautiful mountains and beaches. So, you can enjoy modern life in big cities and beautiful nature in the countryside.
Finally, the people. In general, Japanese people are polite and gentle. If you ask somebody the way to any destination you have, they would try to tell you even if they are not good at speaking English. Japan has an interdependence culture. So, people help others willingly. Restaurants and hotels provide good services without a tip. You can enjoy their hospitality.
For those reasons, I strongly recommend coming to Japan. And I would be so happy if you enjoy staying here.
