Planning what to do and what to accomplish is a good method to suppress anxiety. People tend to be uneasy if they cannot imagine the future and they don’t know what to do. Especially now, many people cannot see the future because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I have read a lot of self-help books, biographies of successful people, and business books, which are very helpful to me in a variety of situations. The importance of planning is written in most of these books. And I agree with that from my experiences.
In an idle moment, people tend to think negatively without any reason. But if you have plans to do something, you don’t have to think about anything unnecessary, and your mind would be busy focusing on what you should do.
If people make planning, they can do proactive actions against obstacles, and they can have a positive mindset because they are always conscious of their goals. Once you write out to-dos, your brain would get started to finish them unconsciously. And, to look at the plan every day makes it effective.
